Authorities found five guns and more than 100 rounds of ammunition in George Zimmerman's house during a search following his arrest for a domestic violence dispute with his girlfriend last week.
During the search the police found the semiautomatic assault rifle his girlfriend, Samantha Scheibe, said he pointed at her and used to break a table, according to the Orlando Sentinel. He currently faces charges for aggravated assault with a weapon, plus two additional charges. Zimmerman has already entered a not guilty plea. Currently, Zimmerman is free on $9,000 bail and is living in hiding.
Zimmerman has also dropped his public defender and has hired a private attorney for his domestic dispute case. He must find a way to raise funds for private representation as
reportedly he only has $144 to his name. He is also $2.5 million in debt, the Sentinel reports.

A hearing in for this case is scheduled for January.
