A$AP Rocky Pays Tribute to Yams on A.L.L.A. Cover

Harlem MC debuts artwork for upcoming album.

A$AP Rocky has unveiled the cover art for his highly-anticipated upcoming album A.L.L.A., and the image pays a touching tribute to his late partner A$AP Yams. The black-and-white design is consistent with Rocky's previous album covers with a couple of notable features.

The first is a purple splotch under Rocky's right eye, an homage to the Yams' signature birthmark. The second is a small cross tattoo underneath his left eye, similar to the one that the A$AP crew mastermind sported.
Though it's harder to discern, it appears that Yams' face is also embedded in the image, just behind Rocky's hands.
All-in-all, the cover makes it clear that Yams — who died of an accidental drug overdose in March — is still very much a part of what influences Rocky's music. Surely there will be some references to the late great talent on the album, but we won't know for sure until A.L.L.A. drops, at long last.
