Swizz Beatz' Message About DMX Might Bring Tears To Your Eyes...

Take his word for it.

Hip-hop’s soundboard legend Swizz Beatz is just as ecstatic as everyone else for the long-awaited jail release of Ruff Ryders vanguard DMX, who became a free man as of last Friday (January 25).

But the hit-maker icon also heard everyone’s concerns regarding X’s physical transformation from behind bars. Quite visibly, the Yonkers-bred rap legend appears to have put on a few pounds during his one-year jail stint on a tax fraud conviction. But after avowing himself as a devoted Christian and using his time locked away to recalibrate his psyche, X is passing along a message through Swizz that all of his fans need to understand about his 2019 reentry to both society and hip-hop.

  • ‘I just got off the phone with my brother DMX!’ Swizz wrote in an Instagram post…

“He told me this time he didn’t work out his body in jail he said he worked out his mind!” Fans shouldn’t worry too much about him anyway, especially considering that Swizz said he’s right back in his studio element, too. “He also said he’s about to make music for the people that need his truth and pain!”

  • In the caption, Swizz continued urging fans to keep the faith

“Real words from the DOG!” he wrote. “@dmx 1 of 1! Never count out raw talent!!!” If anyone would have such personal updates on X’s 2019 plans, we’d definitely take Swizz’ word for it. The multi-gifted hip-hop artist’s brotherhood goes way, way back to when Swizz was only 16 years old. Beginning his early industry footprints with the Ruff Ryders collective, Swizz went on to produce some of the rap group’s most-renowned hits, like “Ruff Ryders’ Anthem,” Eve’s “Gotta Man” and X’s “Party Up (Up in Here).”

  • Thus, you heard it there first, folks! The return of the dog is upon us…
