Former Three Six Mafia member Crunchy Black was the victim of a near fatal shooting last week that left him shot in the face and leg. But in a recent interview with Too Real for TV, a bandaged Black said he was determined not to let the recent trauma keep him down.
"You already know, I'm already in the studio, just trying to get some mother----in' songs done to show all these people ain't no stopping me, man" he said.
Freshly released from the hospital and unable to speak clearly from behind bandages that partially obscured his mouth, Black said he was more motivated than ever following the horrific incident.
"Every time I find out I got a new group of haters, it just helps me out a little more to keep on pushing and pushing and pushing. So yeah, it motivates me like a mother---er," he said.
Black, who left Three Six Mafia in 2006 to pursue a solo career, was shot in Las Vegas last Tuesday under mysterious circumstances. No suspects in the crime have yet been arrested.
