Russell Neal Charged With Murder

Hi-Five singer allegedly stabbed his 24-year-old wife to death.

Russell Neal, a Houston-based singer from '90s group Hi-Five, has reportedly been officially charged with his wife's murder. According to TMZ, he is currently in police custody on $100,000 bond. On Wednesday, the 40-year-old singer told local police that his wife was dead in their apartment and that he needed an attorney.

His wife was Catherine Martinez, 24, a fitness model and aspiring boxer, who competed using the moniker "Brasilia." She died from multiple stab wounds and blunt force trauma, according to police. The couple had two children together. The kids were not at home at the time of the murder.
