Prince Jackson, Michael Jackson's son, has recently paid homage to his father's memory in a massive (and permanent way).

Taking to Instagram, the 20-year-old showed off his latest tribute to his father, which also doubles as the latest addition to his tattoo collection.

While the late singer has inspired all sorts of ink in the past, there's definitely something immensely special about his son choosing to honor his legacy in this way.

"Thanks @Dermagraphink for sittin 9hrs with me for such an incredible and beautiful tattoo," Jackson posted on Instagram, showing off his new tattoo with a video. "I will be posting more of this."

The design features an illustrative interpretation of the King of Pop holding one of his signature poses, with the singer's likeness accented by wings, likely symbolizing that the icon is looking down on him from above.
