Actress Michelle Mitchenor is best known for her role as detective Sonya Bailey on FOX's primetime action comedy-drama television series, Lethal Weapon, and as Indigo in director Spike Lee’s musical-drama film Chi-Raq. The rising star has been working hard, steadily paying her dues one memorable role at a time. The actress is just one of many familiar faces we saw at the Soul Train Awards 2022. She is a Delta
After graduating from Ocean County Performing Arts Academy High School in New Jersey, where she studied dancing and acting, she attended Towson University, where she became a member of the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. She ultimately graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in dancing.
She started a non-profit
Michelle started a non-profit organization called The Mitchenor Foundation to bring the arts to children who may not otherwise have access to them. The organization has already reached people in other parts of the world.
She's married to an actor
Some may not know, but not only is Michelle, an actress but she’s married to an entertainer as well, Coley Speaks. The seasoned star has starred in several projects, including, All American and NCIS. The pair got engaged in Oct 2017 and tied the knot a year later.
