Nas has swag that cannot be ignored. Whether he's rocking casual steetwear or flexing in a tailored 'fit, there's never a time when the "One Mic" rapper misses the mark on his fashion choices. Don't even get us started about his a fresh new fades that always look like he just stepped away from the barber chair.

As we countdown to culture’s biggest night, we decided to highlight some of the "Album Of The Year" nominee's best fashion moments over the years.  

  1. 1996: MTV Video Music Awards

    Nas made quite a statement when he walked down the MTV Video Music Awards red carpet for the first time. Although he kept things cool, the Queensbridge MC alerted us to his serious swag in this oversized red monochromatic leather ensemble that featured custom gold buttons.

    Nas commanded our attention with this army-green motorcycle jacket. We especially loved the rapper's choice to show off his love for streetwear with layers of fresh tees, blue jeans, and gold chains that sparkled in the flashes of the cameras.

    Nas wears the crown for looking sophisticated, even in a business casual look! The "If I Ruled the World" artist looked extra suave when he arrived at fellow rapper Kanye West's birthday party rocking this silky, floral dress shirt. For extra cool points, the star opted for brown shades, a blinged out watch, and a freshly rolled cigar. Legendary!

    How exactly do you honor the first Black man to ever hold presidency in the United States? You celebrate in a BIG way! While performing in conjunction with the 56th Inauguration for Barack Obama, Nas dressed to the nines in a tailored black tuxedo.

    "The World Is Yours" rapper looked straight out of GQ magazine when he walked the Grammy Awards red carpet in a tailored brown suit jacket with single gold chain draped over the pocket. To complete the smart look, the famous entertainer kept things simple with a crisp white button up and a black bow tie. Fresh dressed like a million bucks!

    The "One Love" rapper showed off his dapper (and philanthropic) side while helping to raise money for a charitable nonprofit organization. Peep the fresh fade and clean shaven face...such a mood!
