Gucci Mane And Groomsmen Spent $29K On These All White Tuxedos
Hideoki Bespoke designed impressive matching white tuxedos for Gucci Mane and his groomsmen.
In a recent interview, Hideoki Bespoke’s Dedrick Thomas described Mane’s $9,000 tuxedo. Unlike traditional tuxedos, Gucci’s pricey tux included a longer jacket and wider tailcoat. The jacket also featured textured wool, cashmere, silk, and satin treatments on the sleeves, which gave it the ultimate luxurious feel.
“It was an exaggerated tailcoat design. It was traditional meets modern sophistication,” Thomas said.
To really add that last dimension of quality, the designer created a special fabric to shield the diamond chain that was part of Mane’s diamond bow tie. To complement the look, Gucci rocked Swarovski crystal-encrusted Christian Louboutin slippers that retail for $3,795.
Gucci’s groomsmen, which included Diddy and Rick Ross, looked very dapper as well in custom tuxes, estimated to be $5,000 each. Each groomsman’s name and date of the wedding was stitched inside of the jackets. Like the groom’s coat, the groomsmen's pants were a combination of wool, silk, and cashmere. Thomas stated his team had to do “six months of work in two months,” but finished results were on point!
These guys really pulled off this million dollar look. Thomas said, “We wanted to create something so amazing that it can’t be duplicated,” and we think Gucci and the fellas killed it! I am sure Keyshia agrees.
