Today (March 31) Beyonce gave us yet another reason to look forward to the month of April.

While there is no official word yet on when her new album will be released to the masses, April 14 is now officially a solid date the BeyHive can star on the calendar.

After an announcement came almost two years ago that Queen Bey would be working on her own clothing line, the latest update is an exciting one. In two weeks, Ivy Park, the athleisure brand designed by the powerhouse singer, will finally be available for purchase on April 14.

In addition, a beautifully shot two-minute long video was released that not only stars her daughter, Blue Ivy, but serves as a healthy dose of inspiration as narrated by Bey’s powerful voice. As she explains why she named the clothing line Ivy Park, she shares an intimate retelling of how her father instilled a strong work ethic and focus on her health early in her life, and how it has helped her through every obstacle she’s faced. 

“Sir Philip has created some amazing collaborations, but I wanted a partnership and a standalone brand,” Beyonce shared in a press release, explaining why she and Topshop’s Sir Philip Green co-own the line.

“When I’m working and rehearsing, I live in my workout clothes, but I didn’t feel there was an athletic brand that spoke to me,” Bey continued. “My goal with Ivy Park is to push the boundaries of athletic-wear and to support and inspire women who understand that beauty is more than your physical appearance. True beauty is in the health of our minds, hearts, and bodies. I know that when I feel physically strong, I am mentally strong, and I wanted to create a brand that made other women feel the same way."
