A judge ordered Tyga to pay $70,000 in back rent, yet the rapper claims he was in escrow to purchase the property and is therefore suing for breach of contract, People reports.
Tyga has good reason to want to stay in the neighborhood, by the way. His girlfriend, Kylie Jenner, lives nearby.
The rapper, whose birth name is Michael Stevenson, says he entered into an agreement with the landlord last year. T-Raww argues that he dropped a $200,000 down payment on the multi-million dollar estate in September 2014.
This is Tyga’s second back-to-back landlord lawsuit after he was ordered to shell out $80,000 for skipping the rent on a separate Calabasas mansion.
