Chris Brown: I Take Full Responsibility for My Actions
Chris Brown says that he’s ready to own up to his mistakes, and focus on being a good father. The Grammy-winning singer made the vow during an interview with Ryan Seacrest Tuesday, discussing his One Hell of a Nite tour, fatherhood, and Karrueche Tran.
Of the tour, which launches in August, he explained that summer is the best time to hit the stage. “I got so much new material and new music for the summer time, I think it would be good for people to have fun and put a smile on their face when I’m on the stage.”

If it's not a work day, Brown is spending “daddy-daughter time” with baby Royalty. The 26-year-old said that he loves being a father, and gets to see his daughter on a bi-weekly basis. “I think this was a blessing in disguise with my daughter,” he said. “I get a chance to teach her the right path, and also be a father in my daughter’s life. Just to see a smile on her face, just to see the littlest things, it's emotional for me.”
Though Royalty has made him slow down, Brown’s life is still very much a roller coaster, that he’s now riding solo since his breakup. When asked about reconciling with Tran, Brown said he doesn't want to rush the process.
“I think it takes time to heal all wounds. I take full responsibility for my actions and things I’ve done in the past. I just feel like its a time thing.”
He added, “I’m not a hateful person, of course I still love her, but mentally right now I just think everything takes time. I just need to focus on being the best father I can be.”
