A landlord is suing to evict Chief Keef for racking up almost $10,000 in back rent on a million-dollar Illinois home, TMZ reports.
Georghe Simoniak-Sas filed a lawsuit to evict the teen rapper and his uncle, claiming they continue to live in the mansion, but haven't paid the $4,700 monthly tab for July and August. In addition to kicking them out, he wants to collect the $9,400 debt.
Keef — aka Keith Cozart — is said to be worth $1.5 million dollars. Interscope Records reportedly signed the Chicago native to a $6 million deal, with a $450,000 upfront advance. The label, however, reportedly retained the right to drop him from the agreement if he doesn't push a minimum of 250,000 records by the end of this year. As of March, his Finally Rich debut sold 152,000 copies.
Apparently, coming into money before he was even legal has resulted in a lot of financial strife for the Bricksqaud affiliate. Aside from the landlord lawsuit, a middle-schooler with whom he allegedly fathered a child is suing for back child support, and last month a judge ordered him to shell out $230,000 for skipping a show date.
