Never one to shy away from a fight, Azealia Banks went after Nicki Minaj on Twitter after the Young Money star sent what was perceived as a subliminal shot in Banks' direction.

It has been reported that Banks was recently offered a spot opening up for Minaj on her European tour, but turned it down in order to continue working on her debut album. In apparent response to this news, Nicki tweeted the following reaction: "#ManTheseBitchesDelirious."

That was enough to get Banks on the offensive. The 21-year-old Harlem native, who has previously engaged in Twitter beefs with Iggy Azalea, T.I., Kreayshawn and Lil Kim, dashed off a series of put downs aimed at Nicki.

"I could be really unprofessional and post emails between ur manager and my booking agent but I won't," she wrote initially, before deleting the tweet. She later added "#veryquicklytakingyourjob."

Nothing if not irreverent, Banks explained her continued willingness to take aim at larger and more established artists thusly:

"I don't believe "Rap game" hierarchy ......... Sorry," she wrote.
