Dwyane Wade Wants to Show You Why Naked Is Better

D-Wade bares all for new underwear campaign.

Full disclosure: Dwyane Wade is a catch. Successful, stylish and on top of his game in every sense, it’s no wonder why he keeps the ladies intrigued, including wife Gabrielle Union. The Miami Heat baller can now add underwear model to his impressive resume as the new face of Wear Naked’s the Naked Truth Campaign.

According to the brand’s website, the campaign’s message is one of empowerment by “peeling back the layers and responsibilities the world imposes on you” to become “comfortable, unencumbered and free.” Speaking to PeopleStyle about his new gig, Wade shared that, for him, freedom means being completely comfortable in his own skin. And yes, that means getting naked.

“I’ve got this saying now — I’m always naked. But before, I was never one of those guys who ever felt comfortable naked. I was always the kind of guy who, even in my house by myself, I used to have shorts on. And I got to a point in age where I started feeling more comfortable being naked. But it took me until I was 30 years old until I felt comfortable — I’m 33 now.”
Oh, yes, Gab is one lucky girl. Wade is also the creative director of the brand, so you can believe he gets behind its ethos. “One thing I like about the name [of the brand]… when you think of being naked or what it stands for, it stands for freedom — those moments when you feel free. There’s no worries, nothing holding you back. And the confidence comes with it as well.”
