Is Rihanna Putting Fashion Before Music With New Company?

The style icon is reportedly launching a new accessories line.

It's been three years since Rihanna released a new album, and now we may have an idea why. The singer is diving head-first into her fashion career and might be putting music on the back burner for a while.
According to Grazia, last month someone from Team RiRi had registered a patent for an accessories line, to be titled $CHOOL KIlls. According to a source close to the star, "$CHOOL KIlls will be an accessories range covering everything from tote bags to purses, and later on, fashion. She still loves the music, and it's what launched her, but this is her focus right now."

This is an obvious move considering the fashion world's obsession with Rihanna. She's been dabbling in the industry for years — she already has a successful collection with River Island, was named the creative director for Puma and is currently the face of Dior — and makes a statement with whatever she does, or doesn't, put on her body. Last year, RiRi was even named the CDFA's Fashion Icon of the Year.
As for that long-awaited album, presumed to be titled R8, she still maintains that it will drop sometime this year. But which will come first — new accessories or new music?
