2023 NAACP Image Awards: Full Winners List

Black excellence was on full display.

The 2023 NAACP Image Awards glittered with the brightest stars of the entertainment industry, and none shone brighter than Angela Bassett. Her unforgettable performance in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever landed her amongst the top winners of the night.

As the much-anticipated Queen Latifah-hosted ceremony unfolded, the air was thick with anticipation. When the moment arrived, Latifah presented Bassett with the coveted Entertainer of the Year award. The crowd erupted in thunderous applause as Bassett took the stage to accept her trophy.

But it wasn't just the award that left everyone in awe. As Bassett gave her acceptance speech, she playfully referenced Ariana deBose's viral BAFTA rap, sending the audience into hysterics.
