Young Thug And French Montana Continue To Trade Verbal Blows
Rappers French Montana and Young Thug are beefing after French claimed that he has more hits than Kendrick Lamar.
The “Unforgettable” rapper made the comments during a recent interview with Complex where he said that Kendrick has “albums, masterpieces. But if we were put up on a festival stage, I would outshine him because I got more hits.”
Subsequently, Young Thug chimed in with his sentiments on the matter. “Listen bro, get out of your feelings,” he said. “I’m only speaking from an artist standpoint. You do not have nowhere near more hits than Kendrick Lamar whatsoever. You probably won’t ever have more hits than buddy so get that out of your head.”
Things turned personal between two rappers after French took a swipe at Young Thug for wearing a dress in the “No Stylist” music video. Soon after, he took to his Instagram page where he posted an alleged photo of Young Thug wearing lipstick and took another jab at him.
Since then, the two MCs have continued to trade verbal blows with one another on social media and it doesn’t appear they’re feud will be dying down anytime soon. Other artists have picked sides amid the MC’s dispute.
On Wednesday (April 22), the YSL label’s Gunna took to his Instagram Story where he sided with his boss, writing “Prayers up for French Montana....cuz he gone need ‘em.”
