To Cardi B’s discontent, TMZ’s reports about her secret marriage to her newly-discovered husband and Migos rapper Offset is confirmed by the Bronx femcee starlet herself.  

The mother-to-be addressed the reports via Twitter, revealing why she’d chosen to keep it a secret for so long. And it make her Invasion of Privacy debut album title make all the sense in the world.

“There are so many moments that I share with the world and then there are moments that I want to keep for myself!” she wrote in her message to fans. “Getting married was one of those moments!”

The Bodak Yellow breakout star said she and Offset’s relationship was hitting a few rough patches, and was still pretty fresh for both of them. One thing they both knew for sure was that they didn’t want to lose one another, though, so they woke up one morning and got married on a whim.

“We found someone to marry us, and she did, just the two of us and my cousin,” she said. “I said ‘I do,’ with no dress no make up and no ring! I appreciate and love my husband so much for still wanting for me [to] have that special moment that every girl dreams of when he got down on his knee and put a ring on my finger and did that for me!!!”

Cardi’s referring to his Powerhouse stage proposal for the entire world to see, which Offset nobly did for his wife despite their already married status. For the traditionalists who criticized her pregnancy, she also had an updated news flash for them as well.

“Well now since you lil nosey f**ks know at least ya can stop saying I had a baby out of wedlock,” she concluded.

If you thought Bronx femcee starlet Cardi B and her Migos rapper fiancé, Offset, keeping her pregnancy a secret prior to her epic Saturday Night Live baby bump reveal was a shocker, you haven’t seen anything yet.

Not until you lay your eyes upon their official marriage certificate, that is, which TMZ uncovered as evidence that Belcalis Almanzar and Kiari Cephus have already jumped the broom in a top-secret marriage.

TMZ obtained their marriage document with the specific details of their clandestine matrimony that, according to the certificate, was officiated in Fulton County, Georgia, right on Offset’s home grounds.

“This is to certify that Kiari Kendrell Cephus & Belcalis Marlenis Almanzar were united in marriage…” the certificate reads.

The hip-hop couple have apparently been keeping it under wraps for quite a while now, as the date of their marriage is specified as September 20, 2017, over six months ago. Unbeknownst to fans, the “Ric Flair Drip” rapper might have tipped them off during his acceptance speech at the BET Awards on Sunday (July 24) when him and his Migos crew won Best Rap Group.

“I thank my wife,” he said in the mic. “You should thank yours.”

Even we must admit that Cardi and Offset really had fans going considering his public proposal at Power 99’s Powerhouse concert in October 2017, a month after their marital date. Apparently, that was just enough to keep fans out of their hair until they were ready to make the official announcement of their matrimony… or rather, if they ever were planning on making the big reveal.

Regardless, BET sends many blessings and huge congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Cephus!
