Chuck D Calls Flava Flav ‘Ungrateful’ Following Recent Public Enemy Lawsuit
Despite the beef, the pair will perform alongside at PE’s next show.
According to docs obtained by TMZ, Flav claims that not only did he fail to receive payment, the latest Public Enemy album uses his voice and image without consent.
Chuck D quickly took to Twitter setting the record straight on what’s going on behind-the-scenes of the legendary rap group.
Despite his disappointment, the iconic rap star told TMZ that he believes they will “be [together] on a future stage” and feels that in due time, Flav will see the error in his ways. ”[Flav] will again be embarrassed admitting on stage about the way it spun out. It’s always this way with him,” he added.
Hopefully the rap legends will be able to put their beef aside for the greater good.
