Yesterday (September 23) Gucci Mane went on the Breakfast Club where he spilled a little tea that he and his former protégée, Waka Flocka, haven’t spoken in three years.

As the conversation unfolded, Guwop shared that his biggest focus is on moving forward and isn’t fixating on any past beefs or tension.

Earlier today (September 24), Waka got word of what Gucci had to say about the situation and had to weigh in himself, having a little bit of a laugh in the process.

Taking to Twitter, Waka revealed that Gucci’s side of the story didn’t match with his, adding that the Atlanta rapper has in fact reached out to him.

“Just seen that interview,” he tweeted with a crying-while-laughing emoji. “N****s was begging the kid to come to his party but 3 yrs…I’m bool.”

He then had to follow-up immediately adding that he didn’t mean any shade, and used the opportunity to promote his forthcoming album, Flakavelli 2.

“Why when a n***a keep s**t gangsta he gotta be a hater,” Waka added. “I did over 250 shows this year #whyHate all #Facts.”
