Draya Claps Back At Critics Of Her #StrugglePlates
Former reality star-turned-entrepreneur, Draya Michele lights social media on fire every time she posts a meal online. The Mint Swim CEO stirred up a slew of controversy with her latest meal of fried chicken, rice and beans and veggies.
After posting a meal she whipped up on Snapchat, fans quickly wondered if she used food from a popular fast food chain to swindle social media followers into believing that she's a good cook.
Known for speaking her mind online, Draya quickly hopped into a popular blog's comment section with a few words for her haters.
Owning up to the love-hate relationship fans have with her cooking posts, Draya began, "I know you guys get a kick outta roasting my food. Sorry to kill the fun. the people that follow me know what's up."
Flattered by the comparisons, Draya added, "Anyways, I'm flattered that people would say my chicken looks like the one and only Popeyes, but it's not. I made it from scratch, myself. As you can see, the pot to the left shows the thighs, that haven't been flipped yet, still raw, and floury. I mean, at least say a chef made it and not me... but don't ever think I'm putting cooked chicken in grease just for the gram."
So what do you say? Did Draya Michele stunt for the 'gram or can she really throw down in the kitchen? While you're deciding, take a look at what social media has to say:
