BET Launching Social Series 'Queer As F**k!'
BET is adding the new social franchise Queer As F**k! to our original programming lineup.
The exciting new program will explore the beauty, power and diversity of the global Black queer community, and it all kicks off with an original documentary titled Ballroom: A Safe Space, which will feature exclusive interviews with members of the legendary royal house of LaBeija.
The three-part documentary series will give viewers a fly-on-the-wall look at the Ballroom scene as told through the experiences of the House of LaBeija, the first house of Ballroom.
Queer As F**k! seeks to highlight the multifaceted complexities of the Black queer community. With its launch, BET Social will additionally provide a platform to encourage dialogue and create a safe space to amplify LGBTQ stories told by people of color.
BET's Queer As F**k!'s social franchise will roll out with our Black Queer Excellence (a.k.a. #BQE) campaign in 2020.
