Jermaine Jackson Removes His Name From MJ Estate Letter
In the latest news regarding the Jackson clan, Jermaine Jackson is backing off from the family letter criticizing the Michael Jackson estate.
Jermaine said via Twitter he was rescinding his signature from the letter, which was sent to the estate, saying the matter “should never have gone public."
"I still hold deep reservations about many issues involving the estate,” he wrote, “and I will continue to bring scrutiny and a resolute voice wherever we have cause for concern. But the way to address such matters is through the proper channels and via a private dialogue, not public conflict."
Jermaine’s decision comes a week after Tito withdrew his signature from the siblings' July 17 letter to the estate. In the letter, they accused the executors of failing at their job and stressing out Katherine Jackson to the point of causing her to suffer a "mini-stroke."
Currently the signatures of Janet, Rebbie and Randy are still on the letter.
For his part, Jermaine said that his note via Twitter was offered as a way of “extending an olive-branch."
