Terrell Owens Tears Up On Camera
The phrase “more money, more problems” seems to have hit home for Terrell Owens.
With the NFL’s unexpected lockout this summer and the superstar wide receiver down with a knee injury, Owens has had some time to look at his finances. In a clip from an episode of “The T.O. Show,” Yahoo! Sports shows the athlete on his couch with a phone to ear saying someone needs to talk to him about his accounts.
He tells the unseen person, “I’ve never had any financial problems. I’ve always been good with my money. You guys told me that I’m one of the best clients as far as spending habits.”
Ending the call, the 37-year-old record-breaker explains to his PR ladies Monique Jackson and Kita Williams, “Football season is on a standstill so I have no income at this point. None. On top of that, you talk about the mortgage of all the real estate I do have and on top of that child support.”
With a tight face, a lone tear runs down the left side of T.O.'s face. With the lockout over, maybe the money problems are over, as well.
