  • She then used finger paint to mark specific areas of the body

  • At the bottom, Krenzer included a key to explain what each color represents

  • Although most of the colors represent something positive, the red color, which is seen on the model's genitals, represents an unwanted touch

Krenzer told Buzzfeed News that she was “depicting touches from different people in [her] life.”

“I thought about what was true for myself, and also, what I perceived to be commonly true for people in general, when I mapped out these touches,” Krenzer said.

  • When Krenzer posted her photos to Twitter, she received enormous amounts of positive feedback

  • Many women commented that the piece made them overwhelmingly emotional

  • Krenzer said on Twitter she plans to create additional photos as a series

“Some people told me they burst into tears after viewing the piece and others thanked me repeatedly for creating it. I really don’t have the words to describe how it makes me feel,” Krenzer told Buzzfeed. “I think openness and vulnerability of it is allowing other people people to make themselves open and vulnerable as well."
