Watch: Denzel Washington Hunts A Killer In ‘The Little Things’ Trailer
Oscar-winning actor, Denzel Washington, is returning to the big screen in 2021 in the thriller The Little Things.
Washington stars as Joe “Deke” Deacon, a deputy sheriff sent to Los Angeles to gather evidence for a case along with Sergeant Jim Baxter (Rami Malek). The parsoon find themselves on a manhunt for a serial killer, People reports.
Jared Leto will play the prime suspect in the case, Albert Sparma.
Director John Lee Hancock (The Blind Side) is looking forward to fan reactions for the film that he wrote 28 years ago.
"It’s a thriller with cops hunting a killer, but unlike most of that genre, things unravel instead of coming together in the third act,” Hancock said. “I think moviegoers will appreciate the unexpected twists and turns of the story, the themes as well as the plot and, of course, the outstanding performances by Denzel, Rami and Jared, as well as the rest of the cast."
The Little Things hits select theaters and HBO Max on January 29, 2021.
