Angel Haze Apologizes for Being a "Bully"
After getting into a much-publicized war of words with Azealia Banks on Twitter recently, Angel Haze has come forward to apologize for her behavior. In a video she released yesterday, Haze addresses the controversy and her part in it.
"I really do apologize for all of the stuff that has happened recently," she says without mentioning Banks' name. "I don't like the fact that I was a bully in a certain way."
Earlier in the clip, Haze thanks her fans for all their support.
The beef between Haze and Banks kicked off when the latter denounced non-native New Yorkers for claiming the city (Haze was born in Detroit but resides in New York now). Haze took the statement personally and lashed out at Banks, beginning a series of back-and-forth insults that culminated in the release of a diss-track called "On the Edge."
Haze was criticized particularly for a colorist remark she made alleging that Banks has "charcoal skin."
