Wendy Williams recently broke down in tears while detailing her fears of living in a privileged, predominantly white neighborhood in America's currently racist state.

During the Hot Topics segment of Tuesday's episode of her eponymous talk show, Williams shared The View's Sunny Hostin's story of being racially targeted while vacationing over the 4th of July holiday.

The story inspired her to divulge her own fears related to being a Black woman and the mother of a Black son in America.

"Secret truth: Other than I don't like to mess with people who don't smoke, drink, or have sex. Another secret truth, every day I go home..." she began as she covered her face to hide her tears. "I look to see if there's going to be a cross burned or whatever, and we live in a very nice community. I can't even look at you while I talk about this!"

After grabbing her hypnotizing prop to lighten the moment, Williams, still teary-eyed, explained that she fears for her life simply because of the racial climate of the country.

"I'm trying to hypnotize you not to be racist!" she continued. "Every day! Every day! I have no reason to be wondering about that except for that I'm Black in America! And even though I have a good job and on TV and stuff, it doesn't mean crap!"

Speaking on being in fear for her son Kevin's life, she added, "That's my thought when I'm pulling up to the house, and when my kid goes out to walk the dog, every time. 'Make sure your cellphone is on. See something, say something.' Why are we still dealing with this?"
