After releasing his third studio album, 2014 Forest Hills Drive, to rave reviews at the end of last year, J. Cole has made headlines for his noble efforts. From penning a moving song in response to Michael Brown's murder to randomly visiting fans to sign copies of the album, Cole has been in everyone's good graces. Now the emcee is set to do something huge for single mothers and it involves his childhood home.

On the album, Cole raps about the troubles he encountered while growing up, specifically highlighting a time when his mother lost their home, which he eventually repurchased. Though he no longer lives in the house, he has come up with an even greater plan for the personal space.

In a recent interview with The Combat Jack Show, the "Fire Squad" rapper revealed his plans to provide the home on a rotational basis to single mothers and their children for no charge at all: "My goal is to have that be a haven for families," he said. "So every two years, a new family will come in. They'll live rent-free. The idea is that it's a single mother with multiple kids, and she's coming from a place where all her kids [are] sharing a room. She gets to come here rent-free. I want her kids to feel how I felt when we got to the house."
