Rapper Krayzie Bone Speaks Out After 9-Day Hospitalization
Rapper Krayzie Bone is grateful following last month’s hospitalization that nearly took his life.
On Tuesday (Oct. 3), the founding Bone Thugs-N-Harmony member shared a photo of himself wearing a hospital gown connected to medical equipment while flashing a peace sign. The 50-year-old wrote that he “Just fought for life. Literally for 9 days straight.”
“And I only won the battle this time because I know Jehovah God was with me every step of the way fighting for me,” wrote the “1st of tha Month” emcee, whose real name is Anthony Henderson.
“Never take life for granted enjoy it while have you have it! Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers trust me I needed every last one of them. - KB.”
Supporters flooded the comment section, expressing how happy they were to hear of the rapper’s improvement.
Krayzie Bone was admitted to the hospital on Friday (Sept. 22) after he’d been coughing up blood. After running tests, doctors discovered that one of the star’s arteries was leaking.
It’s still unclear what caused the health scare; however, the rapper suffers from sarcoidosis, a rare inflammatory disease that causes the organs to become covered in lymph nodes called granuloma.
