Lil Wayne Gives an Update on His Relationship With Birdman

Weezy's got no worries.

February’s celebratory Cash Money reunion in New Orleans brought together some of the label’s original sounds, faces and vibes for fans founded 26 years ago.

And while such commemoration sparked just a tidbit of hope for a reconciliation between Birdman and Lil Wayne, the Young Money apostle’s latest stage broadcast unfortunately says otherwise.

Headlining the Mass Appeal: Live At The BBQ festivities for SXSW, Weezy directly addressed his publicized tension with Baby and current career plights for fans. Backed on stage by a handful of members from his YM entourage, he confirmed that the tension with the Cash Money co-founder is still thick.

“In all honesty, I know y’all do know I am going through some bullsh** with my motherf**king career,” he said to the crowd, “and n**gas is trying to steer my career without letting me do or say a damn thing.”

Giving thanks to his vast fandom for sticking it out with him anyway, he added that he’s holding just as strong despite strain from the Young Money-Cash Money war. The concern from fans arose originally after a string of seizures and harrowing tweets from Weezy amid the strife with Baby.

“If you think that I am stressing or letting this sh** get to me, please remember: there’s too much good p**sy, and too many great motherf**kin’ loyal fans to worry about bullsh** a** Birdman,” he concluded before leading into his sentiment-complementary hit single, “No Worries.”
