Bill Cosby Loses Another Honorary Degree

The chips continue to fall as the icon faces another deposition.

Before long, the only degree Bill Cosby will have left to his name is a stick of deodorant.

On Tuesday, Brown University became the third academic institution to rescind an honorary degree from Cosby, following Fordham University and Marquette University.
In a statement in the Brown Daily Herald, Brown University President Christina Paxson wrote, “It has become clear, by his own admission in legal depositions that became public this summer, that Mr. Cosby has engaged in conduct with women that is contrary to the values of Brown and the qualities for which he was honored by the University in 1985.”
On October 9, the disgraced comedian faces another deposition by accuser Judy Huth’s attorney, Gloria Allred. Huth claims Cosby committed sexual misconduct against her at the Playboy Mansion when she was 15, a minor, meaning her case is one of the few that can still be prosecuted under the statute of limitations.
Depending on what is revealed in the forthcoming deposition, it could be the final straw for the few still defending the fallen icon. Watch a recap of just some of the fallout Cosby has faced since nearly 40 women came forward to accuse him of rape and sexual misconduct, below:
