According to Drake, French Montana Is an 'Icon'

Can't get a bigger co-sign than this.

While yesterday (November 9) will go down in history as the day that Donald Trump was elected as the 46th president of the United States, one rapper had a proper distraction to take his mind off of politics: his birthday.

In celebration of French Montana's 32nd birthday, Drake penned the co-sign of a lifetime, referring to his friend and frequent collaborator as "an icon."

"Happy Birthday Splash!" Drizzy began his Instagram dedication to French. "My brother for life too much memories and victories to ever switch up. I'm playing 17000 all day long today. Always one of my icons living to the fullest."

"17000" is in reference to one of French's earliest songs, which he recorded prior to breaking out onto the scene in 2012 and solidifying himself as a reputed rapper.

Considering he and Drake already have a handful of incredible songs together, such as "Pop That," "Stay Schemin'" and the more recent "No Shopping," it's safe to say the possibility of the two collaborating on a joint album, such as what the 6 God is currently working on with Kanye West, is a prospect that wouldn't catch too many off guard.

Take a look at Drake proudly showing love to his personal "icon" in the post below.
