Kelly Rowland has decided to give the public a peek at her baby with a cover shoot for Essence’s April issue. The singer is all smiles as she poses with husband Tim Weatherspoon and holds their 4-month-old son, Titan Jewell, in her arms. The family looks absolutely adorable and Titan’s expression as he looks up at his dad is almost too much to handle.

Rowland and Weatherspoon were married last spring and welcomed little Titan into their lives in November. They had yet to share a photo of their little bundle of joy, so we’re thrilled to finally take a good look at that sweet little face.

Inside, Rowland opens up about her marriage, motherhood and missing her mom, Doris Rowland Garrison, who passed away just weeks after welcoming Titan into the world.

“I was doing something with the baby in the house after we came home from the hospital and she was there with me and she just looked at me and she said, ‘I’m so proud of you!’ I listen to that every day in my head,” Rowland said about her late mom. “It makes me happy.”

While most people find themselves crumbling under the new stress that a baby adds to a relationship, Rowland said that she and her husband still like to do the same activities they did before Titan came along, including going out to dinner. 

“My priority is my husband first. That’s how the baby got there,” she said.

She also added that the first months of motherhood weren't easy, especially with the sudden passing of her mother in early December, but shared that she's found happiness along the way.

"My road to my happiness hasn't been an easy one. It hasn't been peachy all the time, but I am so, so happy," she tells the magazine, adding that she’s been "surrounded with so much love” from friends and family, including Beyoncé and Solange’s family.
