Kelly Rowland and Method Man Set to Star in a Feel-Good Romantic Comedy
Kelly Rowland and Method Man are teaming up for a brand-new romantic comedy from Amazon MGM Studios.
The film is inspired by Michael Todd’s bestselling book “Relationship Goals: How to Win at Dating, Marriage, and Sex,” which spent an impressive 13 consecutive weeks on The New York Times bestseller list.
Described as “a funny and inspiring romantic comedy on finding lasting love and sustaining a healthy relationship at every stage of courtship,” the movie promises to bring humor and heart to the screen.
Linda Mendoza, known for her work on sitcom series “Harlem” and "Survival of the Thickest", will direct from a script written by Laura Lekkos. The cast will also feature comedian and “A Black Lady Sketch Show" creator Robin Thede, along with actress Annie Gonzalez.
Rowland is fresh off her role in Tyler Perry’s “Mea Culpa.” Meanwhile, Method Man continues to make his mark in Hollywood, having earned three NAACP Image Awards for his performance in “Power Book II: Ghost”. No word on when the film will be released, but be sure to check back in as more details emerge.
