Missy Elliott hasn't released a new record since 2005 and according the Da Brat, the next one she releases could be her last.

In an interview with Sister2Sister, Da Brat says her pal Missy could be planning her retirement from the recording studio after her seventh album drops. "I was hoping for a ‘Ladies Night’ reunion. I spoke to Missy and she down for it. She want to do a song because she said this could possibly be her last album.”

Perhaps Missy Misdemeanor plans to focus on producing more music for other artists instead of releasing her own albums. No details have been released about Missy E.'s new one.
