It wasn’t long ago that Naomi Osaka funnily revealed on The Ellen DeGeneres Show that she had a crush on Michael B. Jordan. Well, it looks like Osaka’s brave decision to divulge her secret resulted in her getting a special invite to the Creed II premiere for her 21st birthday.

While during her press tour after winning the U.S. Open Final against Serena Williams, Osaka made an appearance on Ellen and said she was crushing on the Black Panther star. DeGeneres first tried to play matchmaker by sending a selfie of herself and Osaka to Jordan. The tennis star immediately turned red and said, “I’m too young to be stressed out like this.”

Almost a month later on Tuesday, DeGeneres tweeted a shirtless photo of Jordan to Osaka with the caption, “Happy birthday, I got you a present."

The tennis champion responded, "pls block me."

The next day, Jordan hopped in on the thread and sent a more recent photo of himself with the message, “This one is better and more recent. LOL Happy Belated Bday Naomi. But seriously I want to invite you to the Creed 2 premiere as a bday present.”

Osaka, who seemed overwhelmed by the amazing sequence of events, responded by saying she “would totally want to go.”
