Game Claims Self-Defense in 40 Glocc Fight
It was 40 Glocc who actually had the gun, Game claims.
In court documents recently obtained by TMZ, the Compton-bred rapper says his Colton City counterpart instigated his own beatdown that day outside of a mansion in Hollywood Hills, and, what's more, 40's subsequent lawsuit is merely a "gangster agenda to profit from threats, intimidation and taunts."
Game posted the now infamous iPhone footage of the incident online in 2012. The clip shows the two former G-Unit rappers bucking at each other. Game lands some punches and 40 eventually runs away as onlookers are heard in the background pleading, "Let it go."
40 filed a lawsuit seeking millions, claiming multiple injuries and a damaged reputation. He said the footage didn't show that Game pulled a firearm and shouted, "Freeze or I'ma shoot, n---a," before chasing him down and forcing him to not fight back.
Game's version: the beating was a response to 40 brandishing a weapon and 40's suit is just an opportunity to gain fame off of Game's Grammy nominations, reality show stardom and 1.1 milion Twitter followers, for example. He's surprised that 40 even took the fight to the courts.
In the video, no gun is visible.
