Isaiah Thomas Scored 53 Points on His Late Sister Chyna's Birthday
Everything Isaiah Thomas is doing is for his sister at this point.
The All-Star point guard dropped 53 points, including 29 in the fourth quarter and overtime, to lead his Boston Celtics to a 129-119 Game 2 win over the Washington Wizards in their Eastern Conference semifinals series last night. Most special was the fact that Thomas's monstrous performance came on what would have been his late sister Chyna's 23rd birthday yesterday.
Celtics fans and beyond showered IT with praise, saluting him for continuing to gather strength just over two weeks since Chyna died in a one-vehicle accident in their home state of Washington on April 15.
Isaiah Thomas is one strong guy and like many out there, we're a fan.

Isaiah Left Fans Blown Away
His 53 points marked the second-highest total in Celtics playoff history. For a franchise that touted Larry Bird, Paul Pierce and Bill Russell, that's pretty damn impressive ... especially under the circumstances in which Thomas is playing.
One fan Gave Him The 5-Star Salute From Gucci
We second this.
Another even made him the answer to a 'Jeopardy' question
Who is Isaiah Thomas? One correction ... he's 5-foot-9. We get the point that he's short for the NBA, though.

Isaiah Thomas has become many hoop fans' favorite player during these playoffs
Hard to find fault with any of this.
Not only has Thomas played in every game since his sister's passing, but he's somehow managed to dominate each. That's a lot of heart.
At this point, we must ask ...
For real! Regardless of what team you root for, you have got to give it up for Isaiah Thomas and what he has been able to do during these playoffs. Salute, IT! We're here for you. Continued prayers for you and your fam.
