Watch: Was Samuel L. Jackson Checking Out a Beyoncé Dancer's Butt at the BET Awards?
Beyoncé and her troop of female dancers brought the stage to life during her moving opening number of "Freedom" at the 2016 BET Awards. While the performance, in its entirety, was other-worldy, it was Bey's dancer's grand entrance through the audience that many say initially caught the eye of Samuel L. Jackson, who was seen on tape stealing a glimpse of one of their behinds.
Speaking with Andy Cohen on Bravo's Watch What Happens Live!, the Kong: Skull Island star hilariously explained what his wife thought when she saw the playback.
When a caller asked if his wife said anything, he responded, "No. She ain't know s**t about that,' before adding, "Too late now... They were coming down the aisle. We were standing there, and... you know. I don't even know if I was looking at her a*s or if I was stepping on something. It kind of looks like I was checking [her out] because that was an a*s there and I was looking in that direction. My head was turned, but you couldn't see my eyes."
He ended with this short bit while the audience burst into laughter: "So, I might have been checking out that a*s and I might not, but so f*****g what? I'm a guy."
