Larry Wilmore's Favorite SOTU Moments
On last night's episode of The Nightly Show, host Larry Wilmore recapped all the "Oh no he didn't!" moments from the president's annual State of the Union address. After prefacing his coverage with a declaration that he voted for Barack Obama "because's he's Black," Wilmore could barely contain his glee talking about how President Obama, now six years into the job, "doesn't give a f**k."
After a play-by-play breakdown of his favorite moments from the SOTU — including a shot of Rep. Maxine Waters giving the president a standing ovation for his now-infamous "because I won both [elections]" jab at Republicans, Wilmore declared "Barry got his groove back."
"Doesn't he realize he just lost an historic election?" he asked, referencing last year's midterms. "Doesn't Obama know he won't be able to get anything done in his last two years?"
He then realizes, "Oh...he doesn't give a f**k!"
