Memphis Bleek Disses Tekashi 6ix9ine, Confuses Casanova's Bars For Beanie Sigel
Memphis Bleek doesn’t have time for confusing and nonsensical lyrics. In the newest episode of season four for Rate The Bars, the veteran MC didn’t hold back from critiquing illogical and weak bars that are deserving of the heat, namely hip-hop critic's favorite punching bag, Tekashi 6ix9ine. With over 20 years in the rap game, his assessments were pretty fair and he actually had some advice without tearing down his contemporaries.
"'Why I hit that, why I did that?'" Come on, that’s cat in the hat,” the New York native had to say about the 23-year-old's rhymes from his hit single “FEFE,” which he rated a negative one. “There’s no creativity to that. It was terrible.”
Memphis Bleek also had some words for Jay-Z, T.I., Roc-A-Fella labelmate Amil, Beanie Sigel and more! Watch the full episode below to see what he had to say about some of hip-hop’s heavy hitters.
