Offset is remembering why he fell in love with Cardi B.

On Wednesday (October 18), the rapper joined the Call Her Daddy podcast and revealed what attracted him to the "Bodak Yellow" hitmaker and how he had no doubt she'd be the one he'd spend forever with, as reported by PEOPLE.

As a revered rap and hip-hop artist, Offset knows how important it is to be tenacious, and Cardi B's unwavering hunger for success drew him closer to her.

“I had seen her online, and I just loved the way... how raw she was and how confident she was,” he said.

"She didn’t give a f--- what nobody thought and it’s just like damn, that’s fire. Funny, great personality, from what I could see, you know I’m saying? Like that’s a funny girl, she’s a cool girl, and then I shot my shot and I swished it.”

Another thing the "Bad and Boujee" star admired about Cardi B was her relationship with her loved ones.

"First off, she's a family person. I pay attention to... f--- the music and all that s---. That s--- never mattered — that's not what I look at," he explained. "I look at your home values because I'm from the South, so I'm raised by my mother and grandmother. I come from strong women and I see how dedicated and determined she was to get to a certain place for her family."

Offset went on to say that he respected her willingness to provide for her family before she became famous.

"She comes from the bottom, from stripping, and she was still helping the family with that little money," he said. "It's [also] her grind and her focus. You can't tell her nothing and it's the same way with me. There's nothing, you can tell me I can't do at all. I don't care what you think. It's that determination."

Last month, the power couple celebrated their six-year anniversary. Offset showered his wife with multiple pink bouquets to mark their big day. "Thank you for the flowers, the empowerment, the protection and for being a great father to our children… I love so many things about you," Cardi B wrote in the caption of the video she shared on IG.

Along their love journey, Offset noted the key to their relationship has been “respecting her position” and communication.

They have two kids: daughter Kulture Kiari, 5, and son Wave Set, 2. He is also a father to sons Jordan, 13, Kody, 8, and daughter Kalea Marie, 8, from previous relationships.
