Jay-Z To Be Investigated By NBA
The league isn't pleased with his University of Kentucky visit.
Jay-Z’s visit to the Kentucky Wildcat’s locker room after their advance to the Final Four last Sunday has NBA all officials riled up. As a minority owner of the New Jersey Nets, league rules prohibit him from interacting with NCAA players. An inside source says that the NBA will investigate precisely what happened during that visit, where he congratulated the players—including Brandon Knight and Terrance Jones, two potential lottery picks. Jay-Z could face fines if the league doesn’t like what they find; back in 2007, Boston Celtic’s GM Danny Ainge was fined $30,000 for sitting with Kevin Durant’s mother during the Big 12 tournament.
