Gucci went to prison in 2014 for possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. He took a plea deal that gave him two years and on May 26, 2016, he was released from prison. The couple withstood this true test of time and, when he got out, Keyshia was right there to greet him.

"When I was down you helped me up, when I was frustrated you kept encouraging me thru it, when I was dead ass wrong you forgave me and all the while prayed and fast for me I love you 4eva @keyshiakaoir," wrote Gucci on one of his IG posts. During his two years in prison, Keyshia stayed faithfully by Gucci’s side.
Healthy Wife, Healthy Life
Upon release from jail, Gucci Mane turned his life around, kicking drugs and pursuing a cleaner lifestyle, including becoming a full-on cyclist.
The wedding is on
On November 22, 2016, five years after the two lovebirds first met, Gucci stood up and proposed to Keyshia at an Atlanta Hawks basketball game.
