Kim Kardashian Tears Up While Describing Co-Parenting With Kanye West

She made the comments on the ‘Angie Martinez IRL’ podcast.

Kim Kardashian is opening up about what it’s like to co-parent with Kanye West during a time where he’s publicly espoused irrationality, racism and antisemitism.

During Monday’s episode (December 26) of the Angie Martinez IRL podcast, the reality star detailed the struggles of raising four children with her ex-husband.

“Co-parenting is hard,” admitted Kardashian, who shares North, 9, Saint, 7, Chicago, 4, and Psalm, 3, with West. “It’s really f**king hard.”

Kardashian went on to explain that she makes an effort to shield her kids from their father’s controversial behavior that he’s exhibited particularly over the last three months.

“I had the best dad, and I had the best memories and the greatest experience and that’s all I want for my kids as long as they can have that,” she said late father, Robert Kardashian to host Angie Martinez. “That’s what I would want for them. If they don’t know the things that are being said or what’s happening in the world, why would I ever bring that energy to them? That’s really heavy grown-up s**t that they’re not ready to deal with.”

The Skims founder added that she will be “so prepared” when her children eventually ask questions about their dad’s public misdeeds.

“One day my kids will thank me for sitting here and not bashing their dad when I could,” she explained. “All the crazy s**t. They’ll thank me and I’ll privately answer anything that they want to know. It’s not my place anymore to jump in.”
