Here’s Why Ma$e Called A Truce With Cam’Ron, Then Took It Right Back
First, it was Ma$e firing at Cam’ron with “The Oracle.” Then, Cam responded with “Dinner Time.” Now? It’s looking like the whole diss battle was just for sport.
The two have seemed to have simmered things… sort of. Well actually, not really. Just a day after Killa released his “Dinner Time” diss response to Ma$e, the former Bad Boy Records emcee decided to extend an olive branch… or that’s how it initially looked.
“YOU STILL MY BROTHER IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO BE…” Ma$e wrote in the IG comment section of Cam’s post about him. “This was just for bragging rights #mase #theoracle.”
Cam’ron then responded with a similar sentiment. “Yea this was fun..” he replied. “U still my bro too. Glad I get to Brag lol. So when u leaving Harlem again? 2mr?”
All is well, right? Nah. After Funkmaster Flex posted the news, Ma$e decided to clear the record. Apparently, a truce was in order, however the two ain’t best friends right now.
“We’re not cool. I shook his hand cause I won,” he commented. “That’s it. As a man that’s what you do after you win unanimously. theOracle #mase @rsvpmase.”
Ugh… Oh well. We did get two pretty solid diss tracks out of this and both got their names back in the spotlight. Win/win?
