Marshawn Lynch Accused of Threatening to Slap 13-Year-Old Boy
One man is claiming Marshawn Lynch went Beast Mode on his autograph-seeking nephew this past weekend, even threatening to "slap the smile" off the 13-year-old's face.
TMZ Sports has obtained footage of the Seattle Seahawks running back involved in an incident outside the team hotel in Wisconsin, where the Seahawks played the Green Bay Packers on Sunday Night Football. As Lynch is walking, he quickly grows tired of autograph seekers continuing to hound him and at one point says, "Back up off me," which you can see in this footage.
However, Dave Medina claims Lynch told his 13-year-old nephew a lot more after the cameras stopped recording.
"He told my nephew, 'How would you like it if I slapped that f*****g phone out of your hand and that smile off your face,'" Medina told TMZ.
Medina says he was floored by Lynch's alleged threat because the young fans — most high schoolers — frequently wait by the hotel to get autographs from other NFL players, who are more accommodating, and they've never had an incident before.
TMZ says it reached out to Lynch about the alleged incident and didn't get a response.
The Seahawks wound up losing to the Packers, 27-17, and are now 0-2, hosting the winless Chicago Bears on Sunday.
