Surveillance video footage obtained by ABC News of George Zimmerman being led from a police car after he fatally shot Trayvon Martin does not appear to show any injuries or bloodstains on the 28-year-old neighborhood watch volunteer.
Zimmerman's attorney insists that the quality of the video is too poor to provide any conclusive revelation.  
The video shows Zimmerman in handcuffs, getting out of a police car without any assistance. He is shown walking into the police station in Sanford, Florida, where the 17-year-old student was killed. He is walking and shows no signs of being in pain.
For weeks after the Feb. 26 shooting, little has been heard from Zimmerman, who was not arrested for the shooting. In the last week, his lawyer has appeared in the national media saying that his client was attacked by the teenager.  
Furthermore, Zimmerman’s lawyer stated that Trayvon Martin had attacked his client and had threatened to kill him. He said that Zimmerman’s nose had been broken by Trayvon Martin adding that the teenager had beaten his client to the point of being bloodied and that he sustained a gash to his head.
Zimmerman has claimed he killed Martin in self-defense, invoking Florida’s Stand Your Ground law, which allows citizens to use deadly force if they fear their lives are endangered.
The 17-year-old was killed after walking in a gated community in a suburb of Orlando, carrying a bag of Skittles candy and a can of iced tea. Zimmerman, the 28-year-old neighborhood watch volunteer, carried a 9-millimeter handgun while watching Martin, telling police that the teenager looked suspicious and that he was Black. The police told him not to follow the teenager.
Appearing on the NBC news Today show, Zimmerman’s attorney, Craig Sonner, said that the video was “very grainy,” adding that Zimmerman had been “cleaned up” and received first aid in the hour that elapsed between the incident and Zimmerman’s entry into the police station.

In an interview with BET.com, Benjamin Crump, the lawyer for Trayvon’s parents, said that the video made clear that Zimmerman was not attacked.

“Now we can see with our eyes that there was absolutely nothing wrong with Zimmerman,” Crump said. “He didn’t have a broken nose and there was no blood on him.”

Crump added, “Now it seems that the police department and the state’s attorney have been determined to sweep Trayvon Martin’s death under the rug. But they need to arrest George Zimmerman today.”
